We attended Speed Week again this year at the Bonneville Salt flats. For those who are unfamiliar with speed week, each year people from all walks of life, gather to test the limits of their vehicles at the ancient dried up lakebed in western Utah, where top speed is the goal, and world records are made.

The day we were able to attend wasn't ideal, the track conditions were't great, the flats were mildly wet, which resulted in far less runs. The pits were 2/3 empty by 11am. However despite the poor conditions, we were still able to get some great shots and we were finally able to get some shots of the world record holding production pickup in several engine catagories, which happens to be a GMT400 called "Chock Full 'o Nuts" who had just finished a successful run setting another record at 206mph! We ran to get some images before the truck was loaded onto the trailer.

Check out our images and enjoy!
